At Oceana Acupuncture, we take the time to truly know you and your health concerns. During your first visit we will take an in-depth health history and complete a diagnostic examination. This will allow us to carefully assess the physical and emotional factors that might be affecting your health. After we discuss your treatment goals, you will receive a gentle and relaxing acupuncture treatment. Based on the outcome of our evaluations, we will create a specific treatment protocol designed especially for you.

Julie Hackmann L.Ac.

Julie Hackmann, Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist, has over 20 years experience treating patients. She obtained her post graduate medical degree from American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco. She is licensed to practice acupuncture and herbal medicine both nationally and in the states of North Carolina and California. Prior to becoming an acupuncturist, Julie was a chemical engineer in the pharmaceutical industry. She received her B.S. in chemical engineering from Virginia Tech.
